40% Chance of a White Christmas

Forecasts predict a 40% chance of snow for Bucks and Montgomery on Christmas Eve and 20% for Christmas Day, but it could all turn to sleet and rain.

We're still expecting a bit of snow Christmas Eve, but the weather looks like it is going to get messy after the holiday with sleet and freezing rain expected Wednesday.

Here's the forecast from the National Weather Service:

Christmas Eve: A chance of rain and snow after 1 p.m. Increasing clouds, with a high near 37. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Little snow accumulation expected.

Christmas Day: A slight chance of snow before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 39. North wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Do you prefer a white Christmas or a sunny Christmas?

I prefer to have Christmas in Hawaii!! I wish. I hate the change of seasons. I've been asking my wife to move for 13 years. No dice.

White Christmas!!! It just puts an exclamation mark on the season. 4-6 inches would be perfect.

A light dusting will be fine. 4-6 inches and I'll have eight weeks of leftovers in my fridge from the 15 people who can't make it for dinner.

A little white on the ground would be perfect for the reenactment in Washington Crossing
