Fire Closes Street Road Gas Station
The Shell Gas Station was closed Thursday morning after a fire smoked out the convenience store.

Reports came in Thursday morning of a fire at the Shell Gas Station at 400 W. Street Road. After emergency crews put the blaze out inside the convenience store, the station had to be closed.
As of 9:30 a.m. Thursday, the doors were blocked, keeping a heavy, smokey odor inside the building, and all of the pumps were turned off.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
