Firefighters and rescue personnel tend to a woman who was trapped in her SUV after it flipped at the bend on Knowles Avenue, behind the Giant Food Store Thursday morning. Contractors at a nearby work site ran to help the victim in the moments after the crash, police said.

The woman was responsive and talking to EMS staff after she was cut out of her vehicle. Police did not comment on the cause of the accident. Credit Tom Sofield
