The school board has appointed Catherine Perkins to the post.
The Centennial School Board unanimously approved the hiring of a new assistant principal for Klinger Middle School.
Catherine Perkins expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to serve the district at Tuesday evening’s school board meeting.
“I am very eager to work with the students, the staff, the parents, the administrators and the entire Centennial community,” Perkins said “I am looking forward to facilitating the continued success of the students at Klinger.”
According to PhillyBurbs.com, Perkins was previously the district curriculum coordinator for family and consumer sciences in Council Rock School District. They report she will receive a salary of $105,363.
Perkins is the first of two hires necessary to facilitate current Klinger Principal Dennis Best’s move over to his new position as principal of William Tennent High School.
