Here's an interactive map of Sandy's effects in the Bucks County and Montgomery County Patch area, based on current information.

UPDATED: Wednesday, 8 p.m.

Bucks and Montgomery County Patch staff will be updating this map throughout the day on Monday to reflect the developing impacts of Hurricane Sandy.

According to some estimates, more than 10 million people were predicted to lose power in the Northeast as the storm progresses.

Full restoration of power to the Bucks County and Montgomery County areas may take up to a week to complete, according to PECO.

PECO reports more than 850,000 customers are without power on Oct. 30. That makes it the most damaging storm in the company's history.

PECO says it could be days for all power in the area to be restored. The best bet for information regarding your home and street is to call PECO's outage line at 1-800-841-4141. Once you input your phone number to access your account, it should give you an estimated time for restoration.

Folks, PECO is dealing with 850,000 outages. We are doing our best to get information to you. The best way to determine your neighborhood's estimated restoration time is to use the automated system online or via 800-841-4141

I heard from several officials that Southampton should be restored by tonight; however, there was no word on what time tonight.

Several residents in Burgundy Hills said their power was restored a few hours ago and neighbors on Cushmore Road said they received automated calls saying the power would be restored by 8 p.m.

For Southampton residents: I plan to keep updating the article at this link with the information that I receive-

The outage line isn't giving an estimation, just that they'll call when power is restored. Thanks.... I think I would have figured it out by then.

They call to confirm that your power is back, because they may think its back but you might still have an issue. It is good customer service to send out a confirmation call just in case you still have a problem. They have had a hard time estimating time for recovery, I had the same issue that it wasn't giving me a time, until just now. It is now saying 11PM Wednesday (Hatboro-Horsham).

In regards to road closures....As of 5:45 this morning, County Line was open between Warminster and Madison, but closed just West of 611 (they put the road block at Titus so you can get around). I don't know where it opens back up but I took Street up to Lower State and the road was open up there.
Also, Don't try to stop at a Wawa for a Sizzli...there are none. Wawa is closed at Davisville and County Line, but both of the ones on 611 are open with a limited selection due to an inability to store food at safe temperatures.
If you want to go to a restaurant to eat, head down to the Boulevard....there was no loss of power most places. 611 lost power all the way down to the turnpike, so I would doubt any food places have food they can serve. Feasterville is pretty much completely out of power down Street Road, so no Acme, Arby's, McDonalds, Taco Bell, etc.
I hope this helps and I hope everyone is safe and power is restored quickly!

This is the largest power outage PECO has ever had, and trust me, they're trying to get you back up and running....think of all the money they are NOT making with so many people out of power.

We are in the middle of Buckingham and still without power. The PECO website says the estimated restore time is 23:00 Thursday. Calling the PECO outage number didn't help us in getting this information, btw, for those of you still trying to get an update. The website will give it to you, but if you don't already have a PECO online account you will need your account number to set up. It took me 10-15 minutes of repeated tries to get in because the site is also very picky about what you use for an account name, and every time it rejected one I had to reload, a slow process on our very tenuous internet connection. Driving around Dtown and Buckingham this morning shows that very few homes and businesses have power. The PECO crews have their work cut out for them.

Here's PECO's restoration status for Bucks County - it should be readable through cell phones. It does not give time estimates, but the number of "customers affected" is clearly dropping.

"Finally, regarding Halloween, please know that Borough Warden Jim Gaston and I agree that public safety concerns prohibit the traditional Main Street Halloween trick or treating event from going forward tomorrow. Some folks are working on an alternative Halloween event for later in the week. I am hopeful that those plans come to fruition and that I am able to tell you more in the next day or so."

I'm wondering why Upper Makefield isn't turned on, when most of Newtown IS. I'm thinking it's because there's less people in UM in which case, okay, that makes sense. BUT, we don't have public water out here so it makes a power failure tough.

PECO told us Oct 31st, 11pm. Then November 1st, 10pm. NOW, it's November 3rd, 10pm.

I work in Lawrenceville, NJ, and they were back up yesterday. I wonder why Upper Make can't get power??
