What's the bill to taxpayers for this?

Another incredible waste of money, yours and mine, so the First Lady can sell her husband to the public. She and her husband are gone from Washington, D.C. so often it is amazing that anything gets done in the executive branch. Her program on adolescent obesity is admirable but, I don't need her to come to PA to tell me that. Eventhough the event is "free" I would bet that it is being paid for by John and Jane Q. Taxpayer. The Obama's temerity knows no bounds!

One of the best First Lady's we've ever had ... great spirit and she truly cares about kids. Wish I could be there.

I can't stand her. a showboating, corrupt person. Maybe I should go and ask her exactly what her duties were when she was Vice President for External and Community Affairs at the University of Chicago. A position that didn't exist until her husband became Senator, and which was not filled when she left. Seems odd for a position paying $316,000 a year. Interestingly enough, she was also payed on a leave of absence when she was working on her husband's campaign. She is a dirty politician, a thief, and a hypocrite. Or in other words, a typical Chicago pol. As with most community organizers, she is a chameleon, and is able to gin up support. She's a good rabble rouser. I choose to look at facts, and not to be in the rabble.

I see these negative comments. And all I can say is Sarah Palin came to town and got a standing Ovation in Bucks county and she was not the best choice, and i am being kind. I know we all have different view points about politics. But I really would like to know how this administration has really hurt or directly changed the way you live. Doylestown seems to be doing pretty good, just go through town any given time day or night. It is sad to see a country be so vicious to one Administration, and not as critical to previous Administrations. They all have their shortcomings. And at the end of the day they sit together and have dinner at clubs and restaurants that most of us could not afford. Not to mention the Billions of the taxpayers money that goes into exploring Mars. Wake Up America!!!

Not as critical to the previous Administration?!!! You have got to be kidding me! The press and media didn't let up on Bush for 8 years. One simple example: Daily reports on the death toll in Afghanistan. The death toll under Obama is nearly 5 times as many in 3 years as in 7 years under Bush. but not a word from the media. As far as "really hurt" me, yes, they have, in myriad ways. Look at the debt incurred by your children and grandchildren. Look at the credit rating which affects every business transaction directly or indirectly. Look at the unemployment rate. Don't you know anyone who is unemployed or underemployed? I know several.

As you can see I am not a that great at writing comments. But the obvious hatred has to stop, or we will fall as a country.

Agreed, I think first ladies and their families should be off-limits, they seemed to be before this administration, so why are folks so hostile?

Because she is a political power player who has an active role in the destructive policies of this administration. Any First Lady who becomes active politically can't then evade any vetting or criticism by saying "I'm just the wife!". BTW, who's hostile? I wish her no harm. I just wish her gone.

Yes. I know many who are unemployed I am one of them. I am a disabled vet from OIF. Along with Thousand of other Service members. The comment about hatred is my personal views and my experiences since Our Commander and Chief has taken office. There is a thin line between Love and Hate. How can you say you can not stand someone that you have never met or had any type of dialogue with. Just say no to drugs- Nancy Reagan. That was her Crusade. First Ladies do have a voice. Peace in the Middle East, and here at Home.
