Philly Mag Ranks Tennent 82nd on List of Top Area Public High Schools

Philadelphia Magazine recently analyzed public high schools across the eight-county greater Philadelphia region and compiled a list of the area's top 100 schools.

 

William Tennent High School made  Philadelphia Magazine's list of the top 100 public high schools in the area for 2012.

The magazine's analysis included high schools in the eight-county Philadelphia area, including Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia in Pennsylvania and Burlington, Camden and Gloucester in New Jersey.

WTHS landed in the 82nd slot on the list.

The rankings were based on a variety of factors, including graduation rates, standardized test scores, student/faculty ratio, total cost per student and others. View the full explanation of how the schools were ranked here. 

The top-ranked high school on the list was Masterman in Philadelphia; Lower Merion was ranked second.

  • Council Rock South (#26)
