A public notice announcing the pending sale of Stackpole Elementary School sits attached to a stake outside the school. The hearing regarding the sale will be held at the Doylestown Courthouse on September 6 at 1:30 p.m.

If the intent of this posting was to inform the public then shame on them. These 8x10 postings are impossible to see unless you went out looking for them. One under a tree, one buried in a bush and one on the side of the property 2' off the ground. This is being pushed thru without the neighborhoods knowledge. I question the valuation of this property and many other aspects of this deal. What are the builders plans for this development? And what impact will this development have on our already flooded streams in the area. Area residents can't add a 10x10 paver patio without resistance. How can these development plans pass thru? Seems to me a shady deal being pushed thru with the intent of keeping the neighborhood in the dark. Why else the minimal signage to inform the public.
