Plan Your Southampton Days: July 6
A spaghetti dinner and a hot dog eating contest are among tonight's featured events at the fair.
Friday night at the 41st annual Southampton Days Country Fair brings a hot dog eating contest and a big spaghetti dinner, as well as all of the usual carnival fun.
The fair runs at the ball fields at Tamanend Park starting at 6 p.m.
Here's a look at tonight's featured events:
6:00pm - Davisville Church
6:30pm - “Cool Beans” will perform on the Children's Stage.
7:00 - 8:30pm - “Southampton Community Band" will perform on the Lion's Grove stage. (Sponsored by the Friends of Tamanend Park.)
8:00pm – Hot Dog Eating Contest
8:30 -10:00pm - Midway Stage "The Barley Boys" (Sponsored by the Friends of Tamanend Park.)
Admission to the fair is free. Parking for the fair is available for $2 per car at Klinger Middle School, with proceeds benefitting Southampton Girls Softball.
The fair will run from 6 until 11 p.m. every night through Saturday, July 7.
