Readers' Choice Poll: Best Hoagie
Patch is on a quest to find the best hoagie in Southampton.
There are several different versions of where the name "Hoagie" originates from, but if you are from the Philadelphia area one thing is for certain - you know what the word means.
When you have a hankering for a good hoagie, where do you go? This week we are looking for the best hoagie Southampton has to offer.

Monty's has a huge selection of awesome sandwiches (especially the "heaven" mmm) and the option of Seeded sarcone rolls makes it even better!!

Never heard of Monty's. I'm a realtor in C21 Advantage Gold in the Southampton Shopping Center. Where is Monty's? Please have them send a sample tray to our office so we can consider ordering for our office meetings or special events.

I'm going to join the band wagon and say Montys by far is ultimately superior. This goes for all sandwiches overall. In my opinion, Monty's is not surpassable and continues to exceed my expectations. It's my choice for weekday lunchtime chow and weekend lazygrub.

I always go to Monty's when the urge for an Italian hoagie hits...but one day I was stuck without a car and without a lunch. I saw Lee's delivered, so I got one of their hoagies. Next time, I'll just walk to Monty's. Hands-down Monty's has the better sandwich.
