Romney to Rally in Valley Forge Friday

Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney is scheduled to appear at Mellon Hall at Valley Forge Military Academy and College.

Republican Presidential challenger Mitt Romey will hold a public rally Friday at Valley Forge Military Academy and College.

Writer Thomas Fitzgerald at Philly.com said the event is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m., with the doors opening at 9:30 a.m.

According to a school spokesperson, Romney is renting its Mellon Hall.

According to Fitzgerald, "the Southeastern Pennsylvania swing will be Romney's first visit to the state since mid July ... [his] return comes amid speculation that Pennsylvania has fallen off his campaign's target list as a top-tier battleground state."

Although President Barack Obama has a lead over Romney in donations in the Greater Philadelphia area (including parts of New Jersey), the challenger's campaign has earned $124,556 while Obama stands at $107,719 from 19087.
