Saturday is Tamanend Park Day

Bring the family and join the annual celebration of the township's treasured parkland.

 

Come join friends and neighbors at a fun-filled celebration of Tamanend Park, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

All of the events are free to the public. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Here's a schedule of the events planned for Saturday in the park:

At the Glade and the Children's Butterfly Garden -

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Tag and release butterflies, make and take crafts.

11 a.m. to Noon - A performance by magician Tom McDonnell.

12:30 to 2:30 p.m. - Face painting and balloon sculpting.

At the Farmhouse -

10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Face Painting.

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Information regarding the Southampton Creek Restoration.

Noon to 2 p.m. - Pony Rides.

At the Pavilion -

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Live cooking demonstration, 5th Pennsylvania Regiment, hayrides, Quiver Farms Petting Zoo, World War II demonstration, Southampton Railroad Train Station Society exhibit and Jazz Band booth.

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Southampton Lions Club and Friends of Tamanend food booths and a Girl Scout Bake Sale.
