The township's board of supervisors will meet tonight, Tuesday, Jan. 17, at 7:30 p.m. in the lower level meeting room at the Southampton Free Library.

This is the first regularly scheduled board meeting of the new year; the board met earlier this month for a reorganization meeting.

On the agenda for discussion, consideration of the awarding of contracts for the purchase of several new vehicles, as well as a presentation by Herb Schoell of the Upper Southampton Municipal Authority regarding proposed water and sewer projects.

In addition, the floor will be open for public comment at the beginning of the meeting, and the community is invited to discuss anything that is not on the evening's agenda.
