Trick-Or-Treat in Southampton Saturday Afternoon
The celebration of Halloween will take place in Southampton from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday.
If you hear a knock on the door this afternoon, don't be surprised to find a little ghost or goblin on the other side.
Following the power outages plaguing the township in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, Upper Southampton Police Chief Ron MacPherson suggested that parents refrain from sending their children trick-or-treating on Halloween.
Trick-or-treating will take place in Southampton from 3 to 6 p.m on Saturday.
Throughout the afternoon, police officers will be stationed in various locations around the township handing out treat bags filled with coupons donated by local businesses and snacks from their patrol cars.
