Winter Wind Could Cause More Power Outages

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather and a wind advisory until 6 a.m. Thursday. Wind gusts could cause power outages.

 

A wind advisory is in effect for winter weather that could cause more power outages.

Bucks and Montgomery are already under a winter weather advisory with expected snow accumulation of 2 to 5 inches. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

The advisory is in effect until Thursday 6 a.m.

Tonight, snow and sleet is expected before 10 p.m., then rain and sleet. It will be breezy, with a north wind 18 to 22 mph. The NWS also issued a wind advisory., meaning there is a potential of gusts up to 50 mph. that could cause powe outages.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads while driving. A win
