FREE Blood Pressure Clinic
In a collaboration designed to better serve local residents, HealthLink Medical Center and the Southampton Free Library have teamed up to offer a community health education series.
“HealthLink is delighted to partner with the Southampton Free Library to provide helpful health information to our neighbors in the community. I hope this is the beginning of an ongoing collaboration with the library,” says Mae O’Brien, HealthLink’s Executive Director.
The series will consist of quarterly health-related programs on topics relevant to the surrounding community. Each session will be presented by a staff member of HealthLink and will be hosted in the Community Room at the Library. The events take place the second Tuesday of January, April, July, and October at 3pm. All events will be free and open to the public.

More About Southampton Free Library
Adjoining the township building and police station, the Southampton Free Library rounds out the township's municipal complex.
The library boasts a collection of over 80,000 cataloged items, ranging from periodicals and reference materials, to books, CDs and DVDs. The library has more than 190,000 patrons visit each year.
According to the library's statistics, approximately 63 percent of the Township's residents hold library cards. Library cards are free to all residents of Bucks County who can produce a picture ID proving residency. Loan periods are 21 days for most items, with a 2 time renewal policy. Rental books and movies can be borrowed for seven days and renewed once.
The library is a member of the Bucks County Library Network and materials from other participating Bucks County Libraries can be obtained for patrons by request.
The community meeting room, in the basement of the building, has recently been renovated. It has a kitchen, handicapped accessible restrooms and an outside entrance. This is where the township's Board of Supervisors meetings are held.
Plans for renovations to modernize and upgrade the main area of the library are currently in the works; this will be the first major improvement to the adult section since 1990.
