More About Eugene Klinger Middle School
Eugene Klinger Junior High School first opened its doors in September 1965. Nestled among the backdrop of Tamanend Park, the school originally served just 7th and 8th grade students. In 1990, Klinger changed to its current middle school designation, and began serving 6th grade students in addition to 7th and 8th grade students.
Klinger's namesake, Mr. F. Eugene Klinger, is known for his dedication to the schools in the area. He served in several districts, including Lower Moreland, Upper Southampton and Centennial.
