<p>The Tamanend Park Herb Gardening Club hosts its annual herb sale on May 18 from 9 to 4 and on May 19 from 10 to 2. The sale takes place near the historic farmhouse at Tamanend Park, 1255 Second Street Pike, Southampton. The sale, now in its 39<sup>th</sup> year, benefits horticultural scholarships and education. Last year two horticultural students from Delaware Valley University were awarded scholarships.</p>
<p>Some of the plants sold at the sale are purchased from local growers, while others are donated by members of the club or dug from the club’s own herb garden. Plants are thus well-acclimated to the local environment.&nbsp;Thousands of plants are available. Herb club members are on hand to provide knowledgeable advice.<br></p>
<p>Inside the farmhouse visit a garden craft and thrift shop, along with a bake sale featuring herbal goodies.  Don’t miss the club’s carefully tended herb garden outside the farmhouse. It was designed by stained-glass artist Charles Moore and features culinary, medicinal, fragrance, and decorative herbs. Children are welcome. They can touch and smell the herbs and have their visit topped off by a visit to the nearby park playground and walking trails.</p>

<p>Join us at Charlann Farms for our second annual Sweet Corn Festival on Saturday, August 3  11-5pm &amp; Sunday, August 4th 11-5pm! We love our sweet corn and really feel this sweet and crunchy symbol of summer deserves to be celebrated. This Sweet Corn Festival will feature corn-themed games/activities. A ticket will be required, but once inside, there will be live musical entertainment by the The Backbeat (Saturday) &amp; Local Honey Band of New Jersey (Sunday), our huge Jump Pad, barrel cart rides, and a definite favorite among the kids - our CORN PIT! Ofcourse, we will have food vendors here and you'll be able to eat our delicious sweet corn. We will have beverage vendors here. Be sure to have an appetite for the corn eating contest, corn shucking, corn hole, and more! Pony rides, food/beverages will be an additional fee. </p>
<p>We will have chairs/tables, but you are welcome to bring your own lawn chairs/blankets to enjoy the live music. This will be a fun-filled weekend for everyone! </p>
<p>Tickets are $9.99 per person ages 2 and up. A ticket gets you entrance into the festival grounds where you can listen to live music and kids can enjoy the Jump Pad, Barrel Cart Rides, Corn Pit and other games. Food &amp; beverage purchases are an additional fee. Pony rides are an additional fee ($10 per ride). </p>
<p>The good times are waiting, the welcome mat is out, come to Charlann Farms for what is sure to become a SWEET new tradition for you and your family!</p>
