BLACK & WHITE FESTIVITIES CONCLUDE: BLACK VENOM EMERGES VICTORIOUS!

Centennial School District’s 49th Annual Black & White Festivities concluded March 7, 2014 at William Tennent High School. Those involved declared the three-day event a huge success. When total points were tallied, Black Venom was the champion defeating White Liberty, with a final score of 356 to 332. Since 1966, the Black team has garnered 22 victories compared to the White team’s 26.

It took five weeks to plan the three-day competition, which was clustered into three distinct focuses: Academic Day, Pool Night and Gym Night.

Led by Generals Ali Cochran and Dillon Cooney for Black Venom, and Maddie Reid and RJ Merrick for the White Liberty, participating students went head to head in various challenges designed to test their minds and bodies. Teams were divided alphabetically.
