Opportunity Council can help Bucks residents save money and energy this summer

Did your high heating bills last winter leave your wallet empty this summer?  Bucks County Opportunity Council can help you lower your oil, gas, and electric bills through the free Weatherization Assistance Program.  This Energy Conservation Program provides low-income households with a free Energy Audit to determine where improvements can be made in your home to lower your energy usage, increase comfort, and ultimately SAVE MONEY.  If you qualify, the work will be done by trained and state-certified contractors from our local community at NO COST to you.

Energy saving measures may include: Heater work, Air sealing, Insulation in attic, walls, floors, Duct repairs, Low-e storm windows, and Electrical reductions in lighting, refrigeration, and water heating.  Don’t forget, some of the measures may keep you cooler and save money in the hot summer months as well!

Please call 215-345-3309 or 215-345-3302 to apply for the Weatherization Assistance Program.  You may also visit: www.bcoc.org for more information.
