Donations Needed at Local Food Pantry

Jesus Focus Ministry's emergency food pantry collects and distributes food and supplies to those in need around the community.

The food pantry at Jesus Focus Ministry is running low and has put out a call for donations.

"You could be donating to your friend or neighbor that may be too ashamed to tell you," read a recent announcement by the pantry staff on Patch.

Donations can be dropped off at the ministry's office located on Bristol Road.

Some suggested items for donation are: milk, eggs, breads, chicken, canned soups, peanut butter, rice, potato buds, tuna fish, beans, pancakes, dry milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, salt, sugar, flour, tooth paste, shampoo, pain medication, soaps and deserts.

Don't have the time to purchase dry goods? The food pantry will also accept checks made out to Jesus Focus Ministries.

The amount does not matter as every little bit will help. Just remember to write "food pantry" in the memo line of the check.

For information call the ministry office at 215-953-2000.
