Bites Nearby: City Kitchen Pizzeria

You could stand on a corner and look around until a restaurant sign draws you in. But we've got a better idea. Each week, Upper Southampton Patch picks a great restaurant either in town or nearby that is worth checking out. Here's this week's choice:

:  Don't be fooled by the name. This intimate Italian American BYOB has far more to offer than your typical pizza shop. While they do offer several varieties of hand-tossed, brick oven pizzas, their menu brims with many other delectable choices from salads and sandwiches to homemade pasta dishes and various kitchen favorites.

Whatever you decide to order, don't forget to save room for dessert. The City Kitchen features several varieties of homemade gelato and the most amazing cannolis. Try one - you won't be disappointed!

Open for lunch and dinner, Monday through Saturday at 11:30 a.m.

Open Sunday for Breakfast from 9 a.m. until 12 noon, and again at 4 p.m. for Dinner.
