Gray Skies to Give Way To Sunshine and Higher Temps, Says NWS

The isolated thunderstorms expected Monday will give way to more summer-like weather for the remainder of the week, according to the National Weather Service.

Here's a look at the extended forecast for Southampton, courtesy of the National Weather Service. 

  • Monday Late Afternoon: Isolated showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. West wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
  • Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 64. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
  • Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 87. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon.
  • Tuesday Night: Clear, with a low around 66. West wind around 6 mph.
  • Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 89. Southwest wind 3 to 6 mph.
  • Wednesday Night: A slight chance of showers after 2am. Mostly clear, with a low around 68. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
  • Thursday: A chance of thunderstorms before 8am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
  • Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 69.
  • Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 85.
  • Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 63.
  • Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82.
  • Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 62.
  • Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83.
