Help Count Feeder Birds

Project FeederWatch is a winter long survey of birds that visit feeders throughout North America.

Like birds?

You might want to consider becoming a citizen scientist this winter for Project FeederWatch, a winter long survey of birds that visit feeders throughout North America.

The data helps scientists track movements of winter bird populations and long-term trends—where birds are and are not. Such data, for example, can help scientists determine when a bird population is at risk.

It costs $15 to participate but you will be sent a research kit with instructions for participating. You provide the feeder and seed. Anyone interested in birds can participate.
