Centennial School Board member Mark Miller told Patch that the company will collect items for free. The four-hour dropoff, he said, takes the hassle out of large electronics disposal for residents and ensures that proper recycling procedures are being followed.

"It's a public service to the community," Miller had said after the school board voted earlier this month to permit the event.
