Top Five Books from Southampton Free Library

Get your books while you can; the Southampton Free Library closes for renovations starting March 25.

If you’re a bibliophile, now is the time to get a good book from the Southampton Free Library.

The library close after March 23 for a long-awaited facelift that includes a new paint job, carpeting and renovations to the reference and circulation desks.

Jeannie Kim, head of reference, said any items checked out now will have due dates reflecting the closure dates. If you want to return books early, during the renovation, you’d have to do so at another Bucks County library, so Kim suggests holding on to them.
