Restaurant Week Hits Center City

Participating restaurants are offering prix-fixe menus.

Fall can be drab, so brighten up your life by getting out of dodge. Luckily, Philadelphia isn't too far away for fall fun—and our Fall in Philly feature can help guide you there.

If you feel like venturing out a little farther from home, check here for a weekly suggestion of something fun or interesting to do in the City of Brotherly Love. Whether it's restaurant to try, a festival to attend or special museum exhibits, we'll feature something different every Thursday.

This week is Philadelphia's Center City District Restaurant Week. It kicked off on Monday, Sept. 12, continues through Friday, Sept. 16 and picks up again from Sept. 18 through the 23—so you have a lot of time to get some awesome meal deals.

Participating restaurants will offer three-course dinners for only $35 per person, and some will also offer a three-course lunch for $20. This doesn't include alcohol, tax or gratuity.

A list with all participating restaurants can be found on Centercityphila.org. Places with an asterisk offer the lunch special, and menus with a red tractor will feature local ingredients in their dishes.
