County Asks Residents to Weigh In on Proposed Trail Extension

Bucks County is preparing a study to determine the feasibility of establishing a trail along the Upper Neshaminy Creek, extending from Twin Streams Park in Chalfont south to the Forks of the Neshaminy in Rushland.

The Neshaminy Creek Greenway Trail could soon extent into the upper portion of Bucks County, and county officials are asking for residents to weigh in on the planning process.  

Officials are currently discussing extending the trail along the Upper Neshaminy Creek, taking it it from Twin Streams Park in Chalfont south to the Forks of the Neshaminy in Rushland.  

An overview of the proposed trail route will be presented at a public meeting Tuesday, Jan 28. County officials are encouraging members of the public to attend and weigh in on the project.

The meeting will be held at the Doylestown Library, 150 South Pine Street, Doylestown, on Tuesday, Jan. 28 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
