Dancing Dreams Materialize on County Line Road

If you have driven down County Line Road in recent weeks you may have been wondering what is going on at the formerly abandoned shell of a building located across the street from the entrance to Huntingdon Glen.

Southampton residents Scott and Lori Montague recently purchased the property located at 401 County Line Road. The couple plans to turn what some have called an "eyesore" into a thriving dance academy.

When opens this fall, Lori Montague hopes to offer students the opportunity to learn to dance as well as to learn skills that can be applied to every area of life.

"My daughter grew up through dance," said Montague. "It has been wonderful for her. It has brought her immense discipline and self esteem. 

Montague plans to run the business end of the operation and Director Marla Kay will be in charge of the instructional side. 

You can stop in to check out the studio space as they undergo the final stages of renovation on Tuesday, June 19 and Thursday, June 21 from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Also, June is "Free Registration Month" at the studio. If you pay your September tuition at the time of registration, the registration fee will be waived.
