According to Element’s Dance Director, Marla Kay, and Business Director Lori Montague, all three girls conveyed the same passion for dance exhibited by Sarah.

Sarah, who lost her battle with leukemia on September 02, 2011, was a beloved student of Kay.

“She had a passion for dance, and it is our intention to offer a scholarship in her name each year to a student in the community,” said Montague.

The scholarships were awarded as part of an open house event hosted by the dance studio this past weekend.

Classes begin at the school this week. For a schedule of offerings, visit the school's website at www.elementsdancefactory.com
