GUIDE: St. Patrick's Day Events

Celebrate St. Patty's Day with one of these Bucks and Montgomery County events.

Whether you're actually Irish or not, everyone's allowed to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. So wear something green and pop by one of these Bucks and Montgomery County events to celebrate the day. There are several family-friendly events taking place leading up to March 17, and many 21 and older bar celebrations. (And don't forget to .)

Fun for the family

BounceU St. Patrick’s Day Play Date: March 16, 9:30 - 11 a.m.

Children 7 and younger are invited (with a parent or guardian) for a play date at BounceU. After having a bounce, the group will read a story and enjoy a snack. Reservations are requested. Tickets cost $8.95 per bouncer—and parents bounce for free. The cost is $8.95/bouncer (parents bounce for free!!) Reservations are requested!

Triumph Brewing Company St. Patrick’s Day Concert: March 17, 12 p.m.

Kids can get their faces painted and help make balloon animals from 1 to 4 p.m. Stickers, temporary tattoos and coloring books will be given away, and at 3 p.m. there will be a balloon drop.

Adult Activities

Iron Abbey’s 3rd Annual Celtic Beer Dinner: March 14, 7 p.m.

Enjoy five courses and five beers for $60 at this annual Celtic dinner in Horsham. Beers from Scotland and Ireland will be paired with traditional fare as Irish dancers provide some entertainment. Reservations are required.

: March 16, 9 p.m.

Trevor Leonard, the twenty-nine year old singer/songwriter and Newtown native will play a variety of original and cover songs, including an array of Irish tunes. Come with suggestions and plan on putting some whiskey in the jar.

Green Parrot's Newtown Irish Festival: March 16 and 17, 12 p.m.

Enjoy Irish food, drinks, dancing and music at the Newtown Irish Festival. The restaurant plans to set up a 30 by 90 foot tent on Silo Drive, where there will be live music, dancing and special Irish fare. Live entertainment will be provided by The Boys of County Bucks, McHugh and O’Neill, Ray Coleman, The Naturals, The Interns and DJ Johnny Bones.

McStew’s Irish Pub St. Paddy's Day Blast: March 17, 9 a.m. - 2 a.m.

Enjoy Irish fare like corn beef, ham, cabbage, potatoes and shepherd's pie while dancing alongside Irish dancers, bag pipe players and more.

Farmhouse Tavern St Patrick’s Day Special: March 17, all day and night

Start celebrating St. Patrick's day the second the bar opens at 7 a.m. Breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. Live music will kick off at 8 p.m. Drink specials will be available throughout the day.

Triumph Brewing Company St. Patrick’s Day Concert: March 17, 12 - 8 p.m.

Head to New Hope to celebrate with Hobnail (12 - 8 p.m.) and The Lawsuits (10 p.m.). The first performance is free and family-friendly, but there is a $5 cover for 21+ admission for the Lawsuits starting at 9 p.m. Irish fare including corned beef, h pie, lamb stew and cheddar stout fondue will be available.
