Power Returns on State Street

As of Friday morning, power was back on State Street.

Power has retuned to State Street after being out since Monday night due to Hurricane Sandy.

On Friday morning, the normal sights of Starbucks buzzing and traffic lights operating returned to the borough's main shopping district.

PECO is still working to restore power throughout the area and said it expects 90 percent of customers to have power by tonight.

In Newtown Borough, less than 500 outages remain. In Newtown Township, less than 1,500 customers are without power.

This is NOT a sarastic comment. I'm new in town and trying to learn. Is Upper Makefield part of Newtown? I only ask because I've not seen one mention of Upper Makefield in any Newtown Patch article regarding power. I googled Upper Makefield Patch and no dice. Thanks for any direction.

Hi, Upper Makefield is not technically part of Newtown. It's its own township. However, many Upper Makefield residences have a Newtown postal address. There is no Upper Makefield Patch.

Do you know if power has been restored in the area of God's Love Lutheran Church? My kids are in gymnastics at the church on Saturdays, and I can't seem to find out if they have class today.

Geologists suspect major eruption, on same http://www.coachoutletonlinegg.com scale as Pompeii, is due in next couple of centuries. http://www.coachoutletonlineaol.net Keen as they were to reflect on the transience of human http://www.coachfactoryoutletwy.com existence, early visitors to the site were often decidedly disappointed http://www.coachoutletstorefc.com with the place. It was, frankly, a wreck. It looked, as one disgruntled http://www.coachoutletaol.org tourist observed, as if it had been destroyed in enemy action. Well, http://www.coachfactoryonlineest.net of course it looked like that. It had been devastated by a violent http://www.coachfactoryoutletpst.com volcanic eruption. It wasn't until the houses began to be rebuilt http://www.coachfactoryoutlettx.com and reroofed around 1900 that Pompeii became something like the http://www.coachfactoryonlinefc.org ancient city we now visit - until, that is, the http://www.coachoutletwy.com site was heavily bombarded by the Allies in World http://www.coachoutletonlineybw.com War II (in what really was enemy action.
