Report: Three Area Chains Among Best Grocers in Country

How did your favorite rank?

When it comes to grocery stores, Wegmans, Trader Joe’s and Costco are the best, a new Consumer Reports survey has found. Walmart was the worst.

Publix and Sprouts, which do not have Pennsylvania locations, also ranked highly.

Consumer Reports looked at overall customer satisfaction, including prices, selection, food quality, store cleanliness, employee friendliness — even checkout wait time.
