The cups will be cleaned with boiling water at each refill and customers will get $0.10 off their coffee when they reuse.

Starbucks is introducing an affordable way for its customers to reduce waste.

The Huffington Post reports that starting today, Starbucks will offer $1 reusable cups. Customers who use the cups, which look like the standard paper cups with the Starbucks logo, will get a dime off their beverage.

The cups will be cleaned in boiling water by Starbucks staff each time they are brought in for use.
