5 Things: Feb. 14

Tidbits of information to help you get through the day.

1. Vita Education Services is offering free adult GED and ESL classes at William Tennett High School. Tonight's class is from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Please call 215-345-8322 to reserve your spot, as vacancies are limited.

 2. Billboard Number one: Today in 1968, Paul Mauriat's "Love is Blue" was number one on the charts. How apropos considering that today is Valentine's Day, and truly, this song is a great way to express how special someone is without using words. Watch the video and you'll see why.

3. Visit the to purchase a beautiful floral arrangement for that special someone--significant other, best friend or sibling. I recommend the Be My Love arrangment

4. Today is National Read to Your Child Day! Maybe it has been a while since you and your daughters/sons have had family reading time, and today is a wonderful opportunity to sit down and share time with the ones you love over your favorite childhood story.

5. Upper Southampton Patch's green tip of the day: Request that your cell phone provider and bank send your monthly statements and bills through e-mail to diminish paper usage/waste. Having electronic files will be easier to organize in your 'My Documents' folder and less for you to place in order down the road.
