The Upper Southampton Police Department in conjunction with the National Crime Prevention Council encourages Southampton residents to take these precautions when at work: lock all valuables (wallets, handbags) in a drawer or closet or have them with you at all times; be sure to report to your supervisor any flickering lights, broken locks, poorliy lit corrirdors immediately; lastly, use the buddy system-- only stay late at work if there is someone else with you who can walk with you to your car at the end of the day.

3. Billboard Number One: Today in 1992, Mr. Big's "To be with you" topped the charts. Still reminiscient of the 80s hairband trend that preceded it, this song is often mistaken for a a one-hit wonder. And yes, a broken heart can be that bad! I'd let you into my iTunes library to listen it, but the song is definitely, absolutely not there. So, you can watch the video instead.

5. Advice from the columnist: I recently started carrying my phone charger with me at all times. I have no idea why I haven't done this sooner. I highly suggest this to all readers of the Patch. It will make your life much easier because it's definitely made mine easier, too.
