Tidbits of information to get you through the day.

1. Centennial School District: The School Board meeting will be held tonight at 7 p.m. Please check the agenda for an overview of the topics of discussion.

2. Upper Southampton Township: Oskar Huber Furniture and Design, located at 618 Second Street Pike, is currently offering special rates for products. Click here for all information.

3. Billboard Number One: Today in 1965, The Four Tops’ “I can’t help myself (Sugar pie, honey bunch)” topped the charts. This group was formed in 1953, while the members were still in high school. Click here for a performance of this hit.

4. Today is National Flag Day. I know you probably took the flag down after Memorial Day, but celebrate your nation’s adoption of the red, white and blue pattern today especially.

5. The Sierra Club commends individuals who have switched from incandescent light bulbs to compact fluorescent lighting. But, be sure to recycle these, too! Lowe’s, located at Trevose at 3421 Horizon Boulevard, and other stores will accept your used bulbs.
