5 Things: June 15

Tidbits of information to make your middle of the week pleasant.

1. Centennial School District: A Farewell to Leary will be held tonight from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Please click here for more information, as the calendar is still in the process of receiving updates.

2. Upper Southampton Township: For those young drivers who are finishing up the USPR Teen Driver Education class, be sure to place the certification from the class in safe keeping. Your auto insurance company will reward you for the completion of the course.

 3. Billboard Number One: Today in 1989, The New Kids On The Block’s “I’ll be loving you (forever)" topped the charts. To those who went to the NKOTB/BSB concert, how was it anyway? For those of you who did not go, watch the video to reminisce.

 4. If you haven't done so already, take the time to RSVP to the  scheduled for Friday, June 24.  If you are planning to attend, it is requested that you call the park's office no later than Monday, June 20.  215-355-9781

5. The Sierra Club encourages brides-to-be to integrate recycling into their weddings. Advise your bridesmaids to buy gowns that they can wear again (and again). Perhaps you were thinking along the same lines for your own gown.
