1. Centennial School District encourages parents and guardians to install Skyward on their mobile phones. Skyward is a means for guardians and students to stay informed on students' personal academic information. Click here to start the registration process and to learn more about the guidelines and requirements for successful participation. 

2. The Upper Southampton Township Board of Supervisors will be meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. Items of discussion include the promotional policy of the Police Employment Agreement and the Women's Health Center. Click here for tonight's minutes.

3. "If you need a friend, I'm sailing right behind." Billboard Number One: Today in 1970, Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge over troubled water" was number one. This song appeared on the duo's final studio album, which bears the same name. Interestingly enough, this song, about real friendship and loyalty, is number one on a day when one of the most famous friendships ended "brut"ally. See below for more details. 4. Beware the Ides of March: Today in 44 B.C., Julius Caesar was assassinated in the Roman Senate with his protege Marcus Brutus participating. Caesar was actually given a note, which warned him of his imminent assassination, but he never read it.
