Tidbits of information to help you get through the day.

1. Centennial School District: E-Alerts are available to parents and guardians of CSD students. However, to receive the proper alerts, make sure that you have updated your student's grade and school information.  Please click here to complete the process.

2. Upper Southampton Parks and Recreation: Scuba Diver Certification classes will begin tomorrow where students can learn about diving safety, marine life and the proper gear. Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. until May 24 and will take place at Klinger Middle School. Registration: $195 per person. Call 215-355-9781 to register. (Registration in advance is required).  

3. Billboard Number One: Today in 1972, America's "A horse with no name" topped the charts. Writing other hits including "Sister Golden Hair" America was comprised of Dewey Bunnell, Dan Peek and Gerry Beckley who were actually sons of United States' Air Force officers.

5. Nutritional Profile: Want to learn about just how many fruits and vegetables you need to eat each day? The CSD Nutritional Services has provided a link in order to ascertain the information.  According to the site, I need 2 cups of fruit and 2.5 cups of vegetables per day!
