2. The Upper Southampton Township official web site is an excellent resource for finding contact information, township updates, and and submitting requests. But, what do you think of it? 3. Billboard number one: Today in 1979, Gloria Gaynor's "I will survive" topped the charts. In my experiences, I have encountered those who never really know true artist of this song, as they believe it's Donna Summer). Definitely a B 101 favorite, this song was Gaynor's most famous hit , as it also became an anthem for women getting back on their feet after a terrible heart break. This song was also the first and only one that was given the title for best Disco Recording in 1980 at the Grammy's. While you're watching the video can you think of contemporary songs that possess the same theme of Gaynor's hit?
