Tidbits of information to get you through the day.

1. Centennial School District: Be sure to view the recording of Tuesday night’s School Board of Directors meeting on the CSD web site . Stay informed!

2. Upper Southampton Township:  Still haven’t signed up for Township alerts? You can do so here with your e-mail address. Important notifications regarding Township opportunities and updates will be mailed directly to you.

3. Billboard Number One: Today in 1963, Jimmy Soul’s “If you want to be happy” topped the charts.  Soul actually got his start as a preacher and performed gospel music into his teen years. Listen to the recording here. (You might play it on loop).

4.  Yesterday was National School Nurse day, and today is the last day of Nurses’ Week . Perhaps you have been considering a career in Nursing. Be sure to talk to your favorite RN to see if this is the right path for you.

5. Green pointer of the day: The Sierra Club encourages readers to  be mindful about their meat products. Consider eating more chicken and fish. If you are eating meat, be sure to imbibe meat that has been approved by the American Grassfed Association, which guarantees that the livestock was nourished in a pasture. (This kind of meat is also devoid of antibiotics).
