Tidbits of information to help make your Monday manageable.

2. Upper Southampton Township Employment Opportunity: There is an opening for the position of secretary of the chief of police. Read more about this exciting professional opportunity and learn about its qualifications and expectations.

3. Billboard Number One: Today in 1966, The Mamas a& The Papas’  “Monday, Monday”  topped the charts.  I thought this song choice was appropriate for today, of course. 4.  Today is World Press Freedom Day, which is a celebration by UNESCO; this year it is hosted by the United States. Take some time today to appreciate the advantage of being able to absorb/refute/agree with different new sources—regardless of the political opinions within these publications.

5. Community Service Update: The Sierra Club, which has been providing us with creative green tips, encourages its readers to become more involved locally, specifically using Volunteermatch. This can allow users to find close-to-home community service events. I have already typed in our zip code and found an opportunity to help you get started.
