2. Centennial School District: Kindergarten Here I Am is today at 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. You and your soon-to-be student can learn all about his/her new adventure at Willow Dale Elementary School.
3. Billboard No. 1: Today in 1950, Gordon Jenkins and The Weavers’ “Goodnight Irene” topped the charts. I think this is a shared sentiment. I will gladly say goodnight, goodbye and good riddance to Hurricane Irene!
