5 Things You Need to Know: Sept. 13

Tidbits of information to get you through the day

1. Centennial School District: The Board of Directors meeting will take place tonight at 7 p.m. in the administration building located at 433 Centennial Rd. Read the complete outline of tonight’s discussion.

2. : If you are looking to dispose of soccer gear (new or slightly used), the Parish will gladly take these items off your hands as a result of a partnership between OLGC’s CYO and the Southampton Soccer Association in donating equipment to the US Soccer Federation’s Passback program. Please call 215-357-1600 for details on how you can contribute.  Or, go to page three of the OLGC Parish bulletin for more information.

3.  Billboard No. 1: Today in 1998, Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” topped the charts. Listen to this hit here. (I don't think I've ever seen a video by this band in which the streamers were absent).
