1. Centennial School District: It’s Picture Day for Longstreth Elementary School. You know it’s a good sign when the photographer’s assistant does NOT have to brush the bumps out of your hair…

2. : The first session of the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) will be meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Trinity Center. Those interested in becoming Catholics are invited to call 215-357-1300 for more information. Read about this program in the Parish bulletin.

3. Billboard No. 1: Today in 1943, Bing Crosby’s “Sunday, Monday, or Always” topped the charts. This is a classic that may be ahead of a lot of our times--but all the more reason to enjoy this tune!

4. The Sierra Club encourages individuals to be conscientious of water usage—even at the kitchen sink. In fact, the organization reports that if every household in the country implemented a low-flow faucet, the annual amount of water usage would be reduced by 60 billion gallons!
