Car Hits Pole, Flips

No one was injured in a Saturday evening wreck on Street Road.

At around 10:00 p.m. Saturday evening, emergency crews responded to reports of a car that had hit a utility pole and flipped along Street Road across from Pennsylvania Avenue.

None of the subjects in the four door Honda suffered serious injuries, police at the scene said.

Fireifghters from Sellersville, who were covering the town at the Street Road fire house for the temporarily out of service Southampton Fire Company, responded to the accident and assisted with lighting the scene as police investigated the wreck.

Police and fire crews from Northampton and Warminster assisted Southampton police with shutting down Street Road until the scene was cleared.

At around the same time, police responded to another vehicle accident along County Line Road near Calloways, on the Upper Southampton and Upper Moreland border.
