Electrical Failure Closes BCCC's Newtown Campus

According to information provided by the college, Founders Hall, Penn Hall and the portable classrooms were evacuated Tuesday.

An electrical failure closed Bucks County Community College's Newtown Campus Tuesday afternoon. All classes and activities are cancelled for the rest of the day, college officials said.

According to information provided by the college, there was an elecrical failure on campus and Founders Hall, Penn Hall and the portable classrooms have been evacuated.

The college's other campuses remain open.

The college issued the following statement on Facebook: "Due to electrical failure, all classes and activities at Newtown Campus are canceled for Tuesday March 12. Other campuses remain open. Updates will be issued via e2campus, Bucks.edu and social media."
