It’s the beginning of a new season, so get out and try something new or different. Patch has some ideas to help you shake things. Here are some great ideas for this weekend.

Used Book Sale

Where/When: , 947 Street Rd, Southampton. Sat 10-5pm

Move It

Where/When: Municipal Park on Hatboro Road in Churchville. Sun. 8am

Why Go: Bring your family, friends and neighbors to a fun filled day. Northampton Parks & Recreation is offering the following two programs for kids and families. – Bucksfit 5K run and 1K Fun Walk. Pre-register to participate.

The BucksFit 5K Run/ 1k Fun Walk will take place in the morning and then join the crowds for an afternoon full of “ Let’s Move” activities.

The goal is to bring children and their families together to enjoy the outdoors and the Municipal Park, participate in a variety of activities and incorporate healthy lifestyle choices into their daily lives.

Pricing: Grades k-6, $12, Ages 13+ $18

Rat Pack Show

Where/When: 1200 Buck Rd, Feasterville. Fri 8-pm, doors open at 7pm

Why Go: Reflections of The Rat Pack Tribute Show is a magical re-creation of the music, antics, and camaraderie of three of the most legendary entertainers of all time--Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.

Pricing: $30

 “Paws 4 Life” Dog Walk

Where/When: , 300 Veterans Cir, Warminster. Sat 9am.

Why Go: Gilda’s Club and Stroehmann will present the 13th Annual “Paws 4 Life” Dog Walk.

Following the walk, Gilda’s invites everyone to join us at our clubhouse — adjacent to the park — for some Family Fun, including food, a Moonbounce and playground for children, a DJ, contests and prizes, raffles and auctions, a demonstration ring, and a vendor area. It’s a wonderful day for family and friends — both two-legged and four-legged — and raises much-needed funds to support Gilda’s Club.

Pricing: Registration is $25 a dog   

3rd Annual Run4Nunn 5K Run/Walk

Where/When: , 300 Veterans Cir, Warminster. Sun 8:30am – Rain or Shine

Why Go:  Melissa Nunn is a 19 year old Warminster Township Resident who sustained a paralyzing injury while vacationing with her family.

aMiracle4Melissa.org is hosting a Run/Walk to raise money to help the family with the financial expenses that they still incur.

Pricing:  $25 Adults--$20 Students

Lenape Village Cultural Festival at Core Creek Park

Where/When: Core Creek Park, 901 Bridgetown Pike, Langhorne. Sat & Sun. 10-5pm

Why Go:  The Churchville Nature Center would like to invite you to come and connect first-hand with the Lenape people who have called Bucks County home for centuries, as well as their fellow Native American neighbors from around the country at our first ever Lenape Village Cultural Festival at Core Creek Park.

There will be games & crafts for the kids, hands-on activities, vendors and hayrides throughout the day.

Pricing:  $5 per person age 4 & up (children 3 & under are free)
