This week's featured pet comes from the Women's Humane Society in Bensalem.
Tigger (tag #2383) is a year and a half old, domestic, medium-haired cat who was surrendered to the shelter in the middle of August. He has been declawed and neutered, which makes him appealing for those who don't want to front those medical costs.
Additionally, Tigger can be left alone up to 16 hours, in case you work long shifts. He gets along well with other cats, according to Adoptions Counselor Kelly VanValkenburgh, but isn't too friendly with dogs.

To adopt Tigger, a donation of $41 is suggested. Additional blood tests, microchipping and other preventative treatments are available, but would increase the adoption amount.
If you're interested in Tigger, or want to learn about other animals the shelter has for adoption, visit the website for adoption procedures, to download an application, call 215-750-3100 or stop by for more information.
